Okay, I have decided to join the Wizard of Otin and try to participate in his new Rhyming Wednesdays. But I am also wanting to shamelessly promote the new project that Lettuce has asked us all to help her with. So here goes my shamelessness out the window. I am promoting the new Rhyming Wednesday and the new made4aid project. I hope you will all join me in being shameless and promote this new project by Lettuce.
made4aid
This project has been launched for us to see,
What a few friends are hoping will be,
A new charity to show that we all care,
Enough for those in need, and are willing to share.
They will have a place for everyone to bid on things others create.
They are hand-made art and craft items that are great.
A wide range of people have given or mailed them these items that are shown
Each week, some of which were made or found, it is known.
This project raises money for the World Food Program in Darfur,
Of which these people need our help for sure.
I think everyone knows the need for money to buy the food to feed
The people of Darfur, who need our help in which to plead.
They have no way to reach all of us on their own,
And so the seeds of this auction have been sown,
By others who want to help in anyway they can.
So we too have become a part of their plan,
To go forth into our everyday world and give forth a shout,
To ask everyone we know if they can help out,
By passing this info along and maybe making a bid on an item we like,
And in doing this, make a difference in these people's life.

For more information about the made4aid project please visit their website at http://www.made-4-aid.blogspot.com/ . You can see what item is being posted that day for everyone to place their bid. You just click on "Place Your Bid", put your info and the amount you would like to bid, then after the auction of that item is closed, the winner is notified.
This is a fun way to donate to a charity, and receive something special that you can keep or give away as a gift. Please visit there today and place your bid. Thank you everyone for helping to shamelessly promote this.
Please feel free to post this information on your website and to e-mail it to all your friends and family.
