So in the little light that I have today I am thinking of finally taking some days off for a break. If you want to visit a description of how I look you can go here. I have two heads and neither one can think right now due to this shadow hanging over me. And my friend Linda at Crone and Bear It wrote a humorous blog about my two heads and so I hope you will all stop by to read it.
So the Opal Nation this week is going on the break with me. It will be back hopefully next week. And I think you have all been encouraging me to take this break, but it was the new exercise machines that they are making me use in my Physical Therapy sessions that made the decision for me. And this one handed typing is not an option this time because my right arm is hurting almost as much as my left. I have to use both arms with these machines, whereas it was mostly only my left arm that was getting the exercise. And this Thursday, well today by the time most of you read this, they are going to attack my spine and neck areas too. Oh my! I am not looking forward to this and if I am even able to walk out of there, I will try to update.
So I am going to rest and take that break right now. And will be back when I am able.
God bless me and my shadow......pleaseeeee...........argh, ____ this pain.
PS....What do you all think of my hydrangea? It turned pink this year. Yea!!!!! And please do not ask about the other years.

Pretty flower. Big shadow. Good luck with the PT.
ReplyDeletei hate to hear you are in such pain, should it hurt this much? please enjoy the break, rest up and we'll look forward to having you back soon.
ReplyDeleteAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!! NO OPAL NATION!!! WAAAAAAAAHHHH!!! Okay, now that that's out of my system; beautiful flower and colour! And it's about time you took a break! Not that I haven't been dropping(many)subtle hints, y'know....you need to get that shoulder healed, luv, you know this. God bless and puh-leeese don't over-work it :)
ReplyDeleteSee you back soon! -Jayne
ReplyDeleteMy hydrangea hasn't bloomed in years. I don't know what's wrong with the poor thing.
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling great soon.
The hydrangea is beautiful and I really hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the pain it sounds dreadful. Hope both your heads are better soon.
ReplyDeleteLast time I took a break it was three ribs...hehe
ReplyDeleteI'll invite the keweelee to hang out with the gnomes for awhile. That should be a disaster...
Prayers for you. I hope everything goes well and that you soon return in a better and painfree state. God bless you.
ReplyDeleteThe hydrangea is lovely and so are you - thanks for the link! Rest, rest, rest. That's what I'm doing - I'm thinking my next career should be to open a Medical Supplies company coz all my friends need a little help these days! LOL Enjoy the time off and don't feel you have to blog too soon. We understand - believe me! Big (but gentle) hugs and lotsa blessings!
ReplyDeleteFeel better!
ReplyDeleteNo Opal Nation? Well, you'll have more time to think up more chapters. Maybe if you got a service monkey it could type as you dictated the story! Keep working that shoulder...therapy is tough, but is the best thing for you!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the P.T. Never fun, but definitely worthwhile!
ReplyDeleteYep, rest up . . . I don't know how you do it with your left hand frankly. You write such long comments! Hope you're feeling better and we'll all be here when you pop up in our Readers.
ReplyDeletePain is rarely much fun!
ReplyDeletevery pretty flower. hope you're feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting my PT on September 1 - & I'm not looking forward to it! Although my therapist is pretty cute...
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself! I've noticed that my pinky finger gets particularly tired with my one-handed typing. It hasn't had this much of a workout in years!
I wish you have a wonderful time, to rest and come back to us healthy and happy! Hope the pain goes away soon!
ReplyDeleteTake care
xoxo
I'm sorry about your pain. Have you tried cortisone? I really don't know what I'm talking about.
ReplyDeleteNice shadowy picture of your hydrangea. Get well soon.
I pray your pain will quickly fade
ReplyDeleteMine is not so great
The pain in my neck seems a fair trade
For the blessed relief it gave.

ReplyDeleteLove your flower, so pretty and special :0)
I really hope the pain leaves you soon. It's not your shadow, so you will get away from it, however long it might take.
ReplyDeleteI am all about the breaks but I am sorry to hear you are in pain. Good luck with the PT!
ReplyDeleteGet strong, don't hurt yourself trying to type!
ReplyDeleteHi MrsUp,
ReplyDeleteI flew over here after I read your comment on Cronie's blog. Do NOT, I repeat do NOT try Twitter. It is so addictive (more addictive than our pain killers). It keeps me away from blogging, which I miss so much.
Now I will back-track and read about your shoulder surgery. I had my rotator cuff surgery just last week. OUCH. The pain is awful.
Hi Mrs U -- Please take care of that shoulder. So, sorry that you're in so much pain. I hope your pain free today!
ReplyDeleteSherry, what does DD (dear doc that is ;)) say to all this? Is he happy with how you're progressing?
ReplyDeleteFeel much, much better and take a well deserved break.
Make Joey and Jericho do the typing! Feel better soon, furriend:)
ReplyDeleteGod's blessing on your recovery. The flowers are wonderful.I wish I could get them to grow here. Soil is just not right. Be safe, and get well soon!
ReplyDeletewas thinking about you yesterday. sorry i have not dropped by sooner to check on you.how are you feeling? hope you are healing and resting well.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break and get the rest that you need. I hope you are feeling better soon. Hugs!
ReplyDeletehope you are ok MrsU.
ReplyDeleteHi! Mrsupole,
ReplyDeleteI hope that you follow your doctors advice(Which I'am quite sure that you, do...) and get plenty of rest. Please take it very easy...during your recovery.
Mrsupole, as you always say,...God Bless!

Mrs.upole said,"What do you all think of my hydrangea?"
ReplyDeleteVery Pretty!

DeeDee ;-D
Hello Mrsupole.
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say hi and hope you are feeling better.
God bless.
Hi Everyone,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thank you for all the kind and wonderful comments. I am having my ups and downs in my recovery and still lots and lots of pain, sleepless nights and it is not due to something being wrong with my shoulder surgery, it is mostly because I am doing all the exercises, and then some, that my Physical Therapist gives me. Six months or longer is the average recovery time. I am trying to shorten it, but sometimes wonder if I am prolonging it.
Then I have had a really bad food allergy attack to contend with and that also caused my asthma to act up again. So I am now back on the inhaler which did cause the wheezing to stop. And finally after three weeks the hives and swollen lips have gone away. I guess hubby is now learning the hard way that there are certain foods that I cannot eat, no matter how much he thinks I should be able to eat them and thinking that he can just slip them into the food I eat, and me not knowing, is not going to make a difference. I will still have an allergic attack and no it is not in my head, it is really an allergy. Geez, when is the man going to learn that all these years I have not been making this stuff up. Hopefully now he knows.
Anyway I am still just reading things and after one or two comments done for the day. But I feel like I am never gonna catch up due to the times I have been off the computer. Plus this past week I went to lift the lid up on the washer and thought I was gonna die due to the pain. I should have used my other arm. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever fully recover and get back to normal. But then when that happens they are gonna start on my back, oh hopefully that will not be as bad. Oh, who am I kidding, that will be just as bad. I give up. Sigh, a really big sigh.
God bless and thank you again.
And yes, I am starting to look like Frankenstein's sister or cousin, take your pick. Scars everywhere. Another big sigh.
Keep on keepin' on sister. A friend of my sister's had that surgery many years ago. She has some pain occasionally now but for the most part, does well. She was a lot younger though. But it still took a long time to get strong.

Hi there! It was great hearing from you today! I hope your pain will soon be gone and you'll be able to get back to your normal routine.
ReplyDeleteHugs!
Kat
Bless your little heart, I hope the pain becomes less and less and that your shoulder recovers so well you could pitch baseballs. (That is, if you want to.)
ReplyDeletePS Glad to meet another Stargate fan. I lost track of Atlantas when we changed Dish plans and didn't get the SciFi channel. Did it end well?
PS Again. I think something is wrong with the shoulder surgery. You shouldn't still have that much pain after six months. Pester the doctor or find a new one. I will add you to my prayers but you need some action to get better. Don't be shy. Tell them this is unacceptable. Listen to me, big and brave, giving you advice, when I am the chicken of the world but maybe wouldn't be if I were in that much pain. Do it. Get more help.
ReplyDeleteoh my dear, sorry to find things aren't getting better. Thinking of you, and wishing
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are in pain! Take care of yourself. And do take a break. We will all be here when you are ready to come back.
ReplyDeleteKeeping you in my prayers and sending many positive thoughts your way!
Sorry I Have Been AWOL.How Goes It?
ReplyDeleteRegards
Tony.
