Meet Maggie!!

Tom over at Half-Moose With A Twist is having a birthday party for his dog Toby. And according to Tom, Toby likes to socialize a lot with all of his friends and so everyone is invted to come to the party and bring their dog, or in my case puppy.

Happy Birthday Toby!!
From Maggie.

My oldest granddaughter brought home this black chihuahua puppy and normally I would have told her to go find it a home somewhere. I am allergic to dogs and we have two cats. But I went online and it says that people with dog allergies are usually okay with chihuahua's and poodles.

My youngest daughter is supposed to be getting me a poodle puppy in March when the puppies, from this litter that a friends dog is having, are ready to go to homes. And luckily I have been doing really good with this puppy, who I think is going to be a tiny, tiny little dog. She weighs less than a pound. I have nicknamed her Mags and hubby and granddaughter call her Maggot (ugh). So after one and a half weeks we are doing well. She knows her name and sleeps in her bed with her little squirrel squeaky toy. See pics below.
Mags chewing her chew stick.
Mags sleeping with her "friend".
So go over and visit Toby and join the Birthday Party.

Maggie is adorable, and i love her coloring, which matches Toby's...black with the white chest. Toby is a poodle mix and we also have allergies--but as he doesn't shed we've had no problems.

That squirrel would last about 10 minutes over here...fluff everywhere!

Thanks for bringing little 'maggot' over for the festivities!

What a sweet puppy and she doesn't look like she will be very big so she should be easy to handle. What a cutie-pie!

Maggie is simply precious and EmmaLou could eat her with a spoon but would probably just lick her to death. The nice thing about big dogs like EmmaLou (80 pounds) is they can hold their bladder for incredibly long periods of time - EmmaLou checks peemail around 6am, again at 5pm and once more at around 10pm - and never pees in the house (oh sometimes she threatens) - on the other hand, little dogs have little bladders and constantly have to go outside which is okay if you live somewhere that it isn't cold (which is definitely NOT here in OH). At any rate you will adore Maggie because you can carry her around with you all the time. If I tried to carry EmmaLou I would have a hernia to beat all hernias and the disks in my back would simply explode. So would my bladder but that's another story. Hugs.

I'm a 'big dog' person but no doubt that Maggie is a perfect pooch. Very cute.
