Have you heard about what happens when you mate a pickle and a deer?
You get a........

"Dorothy The Forgotten Reindeer"

Dorothy, the dill doe reindeer
had a green and shiny body.
And if you ever saw her
you would even say it grows.

All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call her names.
They never let poor Dorothy
join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy cold and snowy day,
Santa came to say:
"Dorothy with your body so green and bright,
won't you feed us all tonight?"

Then all the other reindeer ate her,
as they were lazy and hungry,
So Dorothy the dill doe reindeer,
fed Santa and the others for free.

A few days after eating Dorothy,
wanting more, while still hungry,
the search for more dill doe's quietly began,
so all the other dill doe's took off and ran.

All of the lazy reindeer flew Santa's sleigh,
filled with toys, so the story does say.
Searching house to house for more Dorothy's,
leaving toys for the little girls and boys.

That was the first Christmas Eve
Santa was guiding those reindeer with glee,
as their searching kept them working that night,
so the children woke up, full of delight.

The other reindeer never found another dill doe,
And had to work for their food and more.
They soon forgot about poor Dorothy,
and her part in starting all this Christmas history.
