Sweet Wine
Moscato d'Asti
This is a wine that I discovered last year.
I am not exactly what anyone would call a
wine connoisseur,
actually I rarely drink any alcoholic drinks,
but
if you like sweet wines then this is a wine worth drinking.
We have bought it imported from different vineyards,
all from Italy,
and found them to be delicious.
This is not one of those with a sickening sweet taste,
but
just sweet enough to drink as a dessert.
For me personally,
I can also drink it for dinner and brunch,
but
I have found to sip it while sitting and reading,
works.
Yummy!!!
I also hope that none of you try this wine
because
I selfishly want to keep this wine a secret,
so as to keep the prices low and the supply high.
When you see this in a store just keep on walking,
keep walking past this wine
and
remember you have just saved another bottle
for Mrsupole!

Hmmm...I discovered Muscatel wine in Spain - like the sound of your Italian version. Cheers!

ReplyDeletei did not see the embedded pic last week but will go back now...you have me intrigued...
I adore sweet wine as a summer wine! Brown Brothers in Australia make a wonderful range of sweet wines! They pride themselves on non advertising in regular channels - just on their website! And that seems to be enough for their wines to be resoundingly popular!
ReplyDeleteYUMMY! I will have to try that one! I know little of nothing about wine either, just whether or not I like it is about it lol! I did find a cheap but tasty one called Stella Rosa, it rates a 6 for sweetness and is really nice. :) Loved your post!
