CORNER

Here I am,
stuck in a corner with you,

I saw you walk into the room,
your eyes were a beautiful blue,
and in that moment I knew,
I wanted to be
stuck in a corner with you.

You ignored me as you walked on by,
I even tried to catch your eye,
because I knew you were my guy,
I wanted to be
stuck in a corner with you.

Then I saw you look at her and smile,
and my heart stopped beating for awhile.
Even though you succumbed to her guile,
I wanted to be
stuck in a corner with you.

Here I am,
stuck in a corner with you,

I watched her show you no respect,
but what did you really expect,
for her you were just a reject.
I wanted to be
stuck in a corner with you.

Then your blue eyes looked my way,
and I knew this was my day,
for when you came over I had to say,
I wanted to be

    RYN: My sister (and family) are all in England, I am in Canada. So, it's not easy to be 'there' for her but, have a big family there who can be and, I'll tell her about blogging and your theme site. It may just open up her world a bit more. Thank you :)

  5. Haha! It took me a few minutes to remember the tune, but it eventually came back to me. Now it will be stuck in a corner of my brain! I think it's very cruel of you to tell me how you need to turn on the a/c while I am freezing! :) The hot flashes are not as abundant as they used to be. That would be a good thing, except that it sure made getting through the winter a little easier! I hope to get back to TT after we get all moved and settled in.
