TRUST

Bridge Collapse

From MSN

I swear I didn't cause this to happen, trust me.

I think it is eerily weird because I wrote about how we are supposed to trust our government to make sure our bridges are safe and while I was writing this I thought to myself, maybe I should not write this, what if another bridge collapses.  But I figured I better write it because it is true that most of our infrastructure is old and breaking down and more bridges will be collapsing and people need to know.

But the reason it is scary about me writing this is because I would predict earthquakes and I see ghosts.  People would ask me to do this once they found out that I could and was correct about 95% of the time.  Many years ago I went to a chiropractors office every two weeks and was friendly with the receptionist.  She was all into psychics and weird things and somehow we got into a conversation about how I could do this.  She did not believe me, so she asked me to give her a date.  I actually never knew where I would get these dates, they would just appear in my brain somehow.  So I gave her a date, but I said that this quake would not be here in the U.S. but somewhere else, it was going to be a big one and sadly a lot of people were going to die.  She said she did not believe me, and since the date I gave her was in a few months she would tease me with each visit.  She was from India and did believe I see ghosts but not the prediction thing.  And when the date came there was a very large earthquake and many, many people did die.  The strange thing was that the earthquake happened in India.

I had my appointment on that day and when I went into the office she looked at me with fear in her eyes and ran into another room.  She would not come out while I was there.  Usually people would look at me with a look of disbelief and think there was no way that I could do this but most of my friends knew I had done it too many times to not say something was strange about me, but no one had ever looked at me with utter fear as if I was in cahoots with the devil.  It was a strange experience because my being able to do this was pretty normal and not much different then seeing ghosts.

Well, I guess you can probably figure out what happened when I went to my next appointment, the young girl had quit her job.  They said they did not know why but she had quit the day of my last appointment.  I think she had some real trust issues with me.

I decided that it was best if I stopped predicting anymore, but I did get talked into it once more by my youngest daughter saying that she could do it too.  She gave a date of when one would occur and I just had to tell her she was wrong, that it was going to come two days later.  I am proud of her for trying and she was close, just off by two days.  Now I try not to think about them, they will come when they come.  But those dang ghosts still keep showing up.  My daughters see them and the grandkids see them too.  I would tell you some ghost stories but I will save that for another time, although there are a few in some older posts.

    1. You know I can tell those good ghost stories but sadly predictions about the lottery numbers are hidden somewhere. It just doesn't work that way. I cannot ask for a prediction, they just show up somehow and I know what it is for. Oh how I wish I could do the lottery thing. I would be living on an island in the Caribbean sipping those fruit drinks. Oh yah!

      God bless.

  2. This psychic power that you have is very interesting. Can you elaborate on what happens? Does it just come into your mind for no reason that a certain disaster is going to happen on a particular date and then you continue on shelling the peas putting it out of your mind as if nothing had happened? Can you identify this power in others if you meet them? Interesting post.

    1. If you go visit mindlovemisery's blog then you can read a little about what happens in the comment section. She goes through a lot of the same thing. And yes it does just come into my mind, I cannot ask for it like they do at a Carnival. It is not like that at all. It is actually a scary thing most of the time and not something I would wish upon others. It is rare to find another who goes through almost the same thing but you would see the descriptions of what happens is almost the same. Some people tell me I am lucky to have the gift but I think of it as a curse. But what is also strange is that people from the deep South of the U.S accept it like it is an everyday thing and they know others who can do it too. Talk about stories, they can tell stories about strange going's on. Hope you go read some of them at the blog site.

      God bless.

    2. Thank you for explaining. I know you are genuine because you said it was scary and you did not wish it upon anyone else. Just checking:)

  3. Very fascinating as a child my dad was (probably still is) surrounded by a lot o malevolent spirits so it was quite a scary thing sometimes. My mom and I both have dreams about people dying which come true in her case a little girl tells her, in mine I am helping the person cross over. The cross over dreams are more often with strangers (not always) so I can't say if those are always accurate but they are completely draining.

    1. I get those thought while awake and some while asleep. These are the predictions I hate the most. I have died and so I know about the crossing over first hand and I also have the dreams. I do not seemed to be drained although with me being so tired and unable to stay awake very much lately, maybe they are.

      God bless.

  5. I think you made a good choice not to tell people, but it must be difficult to live with. The bridge is interesting. It seems as if it was not designed properly. It was built for aesthetic value more than solid construction...much the same as the twin towers and the way our society is being built today. Anything built on a weak foundation is bound to collapse sooner or later.

    1. I feel like the cat is now out of the bag and yes I do try to keep it quiet. There are going to be many more bridges falling if they do not fix them. Travel on them at your own risk. So true about a weak foundation.

      God bless.

    1. Hi Brian,

Yes, I was a WAC, then they got rid of the WAC's and we became part of the regular Army. This was during the Vietnam War, but they did not send women over there and I am not even sure they sent female nurses. Thank you so much for remembering. And you know what is funny, my boots still shine.

Happy Memorial Day and God bless all those who gave their lives so we could be free.

      God bless.

  10. Wow. Do tell some ghost stories. What do the ghosts want? Is it a Six Sense sort of thing?
