You know what you should have done? Just sit at a high table or in a low chair all day long and let the twins rest right in front of you. :D

I hate all bras with undewires because you have to hand wash them! So Yoga style it is for me. But the separating goes out the window which is not too much fun... :P

You're talking to the wrong diva here. I wear one during the work week but the girls go free on the weekend. OK they bounce off my knees but just deal with it. Seriously though, finding a well fitting, comfortable bra is so difficult. The comfy ones are ugly as sin and the pretty ones as uncomfortable as a pea in your pants! Take your time Sherri just take your time! At our age, who gives a shit if we need a belt to stop them dragging on the floor! If you're fortunate enough to be small breasted, just ditch the things. Man bras? Are you kidding?

Hi Linda,

I am glad that you were able to think enough to cut the strap. I think all of my brain focused on the pain being caused. I was so busy trying to pull it off, and the strap would not move. Oh how I never want to go through that again.

I wish I could go without one. Just too much up there that needs to be held in place. I sometimes wish I could get fake ones put in, I have heard that they stay in place and one does not ever have to wear a bra unless your clothes are 'see' through. I think I need to check out those sports bras. I just want comfortable and no bra seems to be comfortable. I am going to have to remember this the next time I go shopping for one.

Thank you for the visit. It is always nice when someone visits. You are lucky to have not gone through any shoulder surgeries or injuries.

And I find them painful too and wish I did not have to wear one either. But alas, it is best for the world out there if I do. At a certain point in life I realized that if I did not want gravity to totally take over then it was best to wear one. Plus I do not think I want to go through all the swinging and bouncing around that not wearing one entails.

I could not sleep and had taken that Amb*en p*ll, which still did not help because I had eaten a piece of chocolate candy in the evening. Chocolate should only be eaten by me in the morning hours, or at least what are "my morning hours". Anyway due to the caffeine and sugar, I have the worst time trying to sleep, so I figured I would get up and get on the computer. I figured I better post something again, if I am gonna stay off the break thingy.

I am not sure if this post would have turned out this way if I had not taken one of the p*lls. It is like I turn into a drunken post writer person, who I do not recognize when I reread things I have written. The same way with my comments. Then again, they say the real you comes out during these times.

There must be another side of me that is not quite as serious as I usually try to be. I think that side of me is a little bit more entertaining and free spirited. I think when I was younger, I was that way. I also liked the one, "Braslessness Lead to Chaos".

Maybe we should start a "Burn the Bra" day again. Let the movement begin!!!

You are so lucky that you did it correctly and did not have to go through what I did. I am not even sure if I can describe how painful an experience it was.

And I hate underwire bras, the wire always hurts me no matter how I hold my arms. I just cut the wire out and I really just try to buy bras without one.

I know what you mean about not being able to hold your arm properly. I am wondering if my arm and shoulder will ever be normal again. Although at this point I would just settle for being painfree. I hope you are doing better than I am.

I have to give it to her, she did getcha. Although your fax made me burst out laughing.

I also hope that your mom is doing okay. At least with the prosthetics a women does not feel like everyone is staring at her, such as when they did not exist. I cannot even imagine what your mom went through, but it is always nice to hear when a woman is well after going through that.

When I could finally get out of my contraption I tried the pulling up the bra strap like you and screamed in agony - I had to cut the strap to get it off of me. Bras had to have been invented by men - I wear one rarely now - only if I have something on that's sheer or clingy but under layers or a sweatshirt - forget it! Hate them. Sports bras work but it's easier to go without.

I wore my sports bra for the first little while - it has front clasps. But when I put my "real" bra on I did the same thing as you - except I pulled the strap up on my bad shoulder first & THEN the one on my good arm. That worked ok - but the underwire digs into my underarm on the bad side - I guess because I still don't hold that arm away from my body very much. Really annoying!

However, I can't really see going without one - I think I'd get really sore & tender from the movement against my shirt.

It's good to know you and your bra are at peace with each other again.

Many years ago my mom had breast cancer. She had to have one of them removed.She battled all the chemo treatments and finally was deemed cancer free.
So, as some time went by.....she decided to get a prosthetic replacement booby.

She did most of her recovery at our house. My wife at the time really enjoyed my mom's company and mom came up for a visit shortly after getting her new prosthetic.

Later in the evening I was in the bathroom faxing a clump to the toilet machine and a little knock comes to the door???
It's my dear wife and she says hold your hand out the door? So, me being the dutiful obeying husband at the time holds out the hand.
She put's something strange in my hand? I pull it back through the door and looking at this stange piece of blubber in my hand while screaming "Karen......what is this"?????
She say's "it's your mom's boob.......gotcha!!!"
